Detroit Media Partnership manages the business operations of the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News, including production, advertising and circulation. Gannett Co, Inc., owner of the Detroit Free Press, is the general partner in the Detroit Media Partnership and MediaNews Group, owner of The Detroit News, is the limited partner. The two newspapers publish separate editions Monday through Saturday, with the Detroit Free Press publishing the Sunday newspaper.
